This relatively young agency has seen phenomenal growth over the past 6-12 months and is now seeking an experienced Account Director to manage one of the key accounts. The focus of the account is retail although it's not a typical retail account, it's more about working on strategic and creative marketing campaigns which reach out to customers, both existing and new, with brand and offer led messages. These campaigns are likely to have an experiential element whilst ultimately focus on the retailer's proposition. Its true brand led marketing and the campaigns need to impress.
In this role, you will naturally be expected to develop and formulate the marketing activity but a major part of the role will be to build close working relationships with senior decision makers across various divisions with the client's business. They are already getting a volume of recommendations and building a name for themselves so your objective will be to build on this. To support you, you will have a strong team of very experienced retail and experiential marketers and creatives so you'll be pulling their knowledge and ideas together to nail the campaigns.
If you are an experienced retail Account Director but not necessarily getting the freedom to create some truly exciting work then this challenge could be just right for you. Genuinely roles like this don't come about very often.
