Account Manager

Position Description:

Due to recent success with existing and new clients, we are looking for a hands-on Account Manager to join a team of talented reference marketing professionals. We are looking for an enthusiastic individual with client relationship and project management skills. You'll be responsible for managing customer reference programmes (creating 'creative' testimonials) that accelerate the sales process for clients. This is a multifaceted role where you will be working with some of the world's biggest technology brands such as Apple, Blackberry, HP and Vodafone.

Day to day you will be working with the sales teams in the client organisations to encourage them to win references from their clients. Once achieved, you will manage the process with the client creating a variety of references that can be used as marketing material for the client organisations. Here you will utilise your classic marketing skills to ensure tone of voice and brand consistency.


The Person:

The successful candidate will be assisting with project managing reference activities for these global technology and/or telecoms companies, client management, reference activity management and materials creation. The role requires somebody who has an understanding of different cultures with strong marketing,2020communication and project management skills.

The Account Manager is expected to consistently provide excellent customer service to clients, as well as represent individual client needs and goals. We're expecting an accomplished multi-tasker with great interpersonal and team working skills, and experience of working to tight timescales.


This role requires an individual who isn't afraid to get stuck in and get results. Problem solving is a key skill in this role. You will be accustomed to an agency environment (marketing, PR or even recruitment), have at least a keen interest in the Hi-Tech sector if no experience, a second language would be great and customer reference/advocacy experience would be even better (although we appreciate that this isn't hugely common so is by no means essential).
