As well as successfully implementing fully integrated marketing campaigns, the teams also work on a number of national research projects with partners in the Higher Education and Further Education industries.
What is the role?
We are seeking someone who can confidently be at the forefront of our media planning, someone who thrives off dissecting briefs and analysing them to make strategic recommendations in relation to client business objectives. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who has expertise in multi-tasking, who can execute several marketing plans across a range of media platforms. We are seeking someone who has a genuine passion for media, who can demonstrate suburb negotiation skills and provide exceptional client communications.
You will be responsible for…
+ Understanding of the media landscape, preferably for the education space
+ Awareness of relevant data sets (e.g. Nielsen)
+ Point of contact for clients – working with clients to understand their needs and match their objectives against the correct media, via effective media planning
+ Ensuring all media plans are built into netsuite
+ Point of contact for media/publishers – liaising with media to buy the most effective space for the best value
+ Point of contact for our internal teams – integrating with existing campaigns ensuring creative and tracking is in place
+ Reporting on the effectiveness of the campaign
What are we looking for?
- Marketing, business or technical degree…but not essential if you have Media Buyer experience!
- Ideally working in an agency, media company or in software
- Strong understanding of buying platforms and how they differ
- Exceptional organisation and problem solving skills
- An understanding of technical terminology and can relay and guide clients through this – CPC, CPM, placements, OTH direct response etc.
- Knowledge of Google Analytics is highly desirable
