My client in West Sussex are commercial aircraft asset managers providing advisory, technical management and remarketing services to aircraft owners, lenders, investors and airlines. Due to expansion they are now seeking someone who can turn their hand to a multitude of tasks to support their expanding business!
This is a rare opportunity for someone to grow with this role, as long as you are happy to undertake research, marketing, outbound fact finding calls as well as attend conferences and events to meet face to face with customers and potential customers (further down the line). It’s a diverse opportunity!
Tasks will include:
·Assisting in sourcing sale and lease opportunities for the company portfolio
·Managing and developing the company database
·Analysis of airline fleets to identify marketing targets
·Identifying, contacting and maintaining target airline relationships
·Project managing aircraft marketing campaigns
·Creation and publication of company marketing material
·Management of the company website content
·Maintaining a thorough understanding of current and future aircraft market trends
·Production of market analysis reports for senior management
·Assisting in the negotiation and closing of aircraft sales, purchase and lease transactions
·Developing technical, commercial and contractual knowledge and capabilities
NEW BUSINESS DEVLEOPMENT
·Assisting in sourcing purchase, lease and purchase/leaseback opportunities in order to increase the company’s portfolio
·Assisting in the development of the company’s client base and generation of new business opportunities, in relation to aircraft remarketing, advisory services and asset management services
Ideal candidate competencies:
·Enthusiastic and self-motivated capable of working independently
·Organised and multi-tasking with a high level of attention to detail
·Ability to work flexibly in order to meet commercial deadlines under pressure
·Numerate with strong data manipulation and analytical capability
·Strong oral and written communication skills
·Confidence to manage relationships at all levels and with a diverse range of cultures
Qualifications and Experience:
·Degree in a relevant subject;
·Experience preferred of the aircraft leasing industry gained from a lessor, airline, manufacturer, bank or other entity;
·Experience preferred of a marketing role, including interface with customers;
·Experience of data manipulation and analysis.
