£30,000 - £35,000 Base plus profit share. OTE £40,000 - £42,000 + Pension + No Daily Commute
++ We’re a fast growing 100% remote-working digital agency with 60-staff, and we’re looking for a driven and ambitious Sales Manager to build a killer sales team and hit our growth targets ++
Back in 2012, our Founder wrote a book about digital marketing which has become one of the UK’s best-selling marketing books. Then followed more books, our blog, and podcast. This has generated enough inbound leads to grow the business to the size it is today, with over 100 SME clients around the world using our website, SEO, PPC, Content Marketing and Facebook Advertising services.
We’re looking for someone hungry and ambitious to run and grow the sales department to help the business become the UK’s largest and fastest growing SME digital marketing company.
You Will Need To:
+ Have at least 2 years experience in a digital marketing sales role, preferably as a Sales Manager.
+ Be keen to grow the sales department, and get a kick from watching those under you grow and develop
+ Take an active role in selling our products and services, direct others and not be afraid to get stuck in and lead from the front.
+ Be extremely self-motivated. This is a 100% remote role which is AMAZING for some people, but a NIGHTMARE for those who aren’t able to focus, prioritise their time, and motivate themselves in a remote setting.
+ Contribute ideas. Whether product/service ideas, incentives, team management ideas… We’re looking for someone who wants to contribute and build a team to be proud of.
+ Be ambitious. Our best managers have built impressive empires inside the business. We reward extraordinary ability and performance with responsibility and even more freedom to make decisions. We don’t care about age, gender, background, location, qualifications… all we care about is your dedication and the results your team produces.
The Sales Manager Role:
We have ambitious growth targets, but the time that I have been able to dedicate to the sales team has limited our growth in this area. Whilst the rest of the company has expanded rapidly as our services and client base have grown, the sales department has not caught up. We frequently have to turn our adverts off as we have more leads than we can manage, which obviously hurts *deep* inside.
Your job will be to come in, survey the land, and map out a path for you and the team to follow. You’ll be working closely with myself me and our General Manager to build the recruitment, training and sales processes, and as soon as you prove results, you will have our full backing to grow and scale the sales team.

Being 100% remote means we’re extremely focused on productivity. We do have a physical office in Nottingham, although none of our team work from there as we found productivity and happiness were higher when we work remotely.
We encourage our people to live their lives, whether that’s taking time to do things that ‘battery caged’ workers cannot (pick up the kids, take a break to walk the dog), or travelling the world stopping at wifi hotspots to continue their work. Having the freedom to work and live how you want makes for happier staff and better results for our clients, so as long as the work gets done, we don’t mind the location.
The ability to self-motivate and lead a team of similar minded people is key, as we don’t micro-manage either. This can be great for those who have always wanted to ‘just get on with it’. But it’s not right for everyone, as some folks need to be constantly checked up on and told what to do. These people are not a great fit for us.
Despite being remote, our team builds strong personal bonds and it has been amazing to see friendships develop between people who might have only met in person at our Christmas or summer parties! We regularly Skype with each other during meetings, so although the role is remote, it never feels lonely!
As long as you are mostly available to work during office hours, you are free to set your own schedule. Everyone in the company uses time tracking software to clock in and clock out as they choose, so as long as the hours are completed, we’re flexible about when.
Salary And Rewards:
£30,000 - £35,000 Base plus profit share. OTE £40,000 - £42,000
There is a profit share in place for hitting net growth targets, as we believe that those who contribute to the growth of the company deserve to share in the rewards.
In addition, you’ll receive 28 days paid holiday per year as well as a pension.
Oh, and with Winter approaching, you won’t have to leave your house early every day in cold darkness to trek to a miserable office. Nobody good deserves that.
