A globally successful organisation with household name products is currently seeking Artworker to join the UK graphics and packaging team.

The company.

Grown massively over the past 20 years to a global footprint in over 70 countries. This is the chance for the Artworker to work in their South West offices as part of the graphics and packaging team. It’s a brilliant time to join the team as the company will be doubling its footprint at the offices with a huge expansion. The next four years look set to be the biggest and busiest yet.

The role.

The Artworker will transfer creative intent into print ready artwork for all production line graphic materials, for every product. The position is within a multi-disciplinary team including Creative, Project Management, Packaging Design, Manufacturing Support functions, and will play a key role in the team's deliverables, driving productivity and quality through all aspects of production.

The role reports to the Senior Artworker, and focuses on providing artwork support to creative origination, developing through the project lifecycle into final artwork, repro and certification for print. The role is responsible for providing Quality Assurance, ensuring correct process is followed, and Quality Control is effectively managed in the artwork and approval workflows. Working as part of the Artwork Studio, ensure that all those participating within the project are aware of technical solutions deployed to deliver print work closely with your team and other project stakeholders, sharing information, giving accurate project updates and ensuring you are up to date and invested in the team's long term goals.

The experience we need.
  • Experience of working in a busy artwork production environment
  • Knowledge of all litho, flexo, tampo print and production processes.
  • Advanced skills in; Creative Suite 4
  • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
  • Advanced knowledge of Asset management and pdf workflows preferred
  • Strong knowledge of preflight software and colour management
  • Comprehensive Prepress and Print knowledge
  • Strong understanding of POS and packaging mechanics
