The Assistant Marketing Manager Role:
As our Assistant Marketing Manager, you’ll be responsible for the marketing activity for a suite of journals in the Business, Economics, Accounting & Finance list. Focus will be given to driving authors, enhancing usage and helping society and journal brand development. Marketing content will be developed around a clear understanding of journal customers – users and authors. You’ll look at analytical data to define tactics and report back on how well your campaigns are going also using this information to refine and develop further campaigns in future.
You’ll find yourself in a true learning role with the chance to build on your marketing background. You will already have copy writing experience allowing you to focus on the needs of the customer, rather than product. You will be innovative and creative within your approach to tasks and will have a good knowledge of social media and its many uses within a marketing context. You will be well organized, flexible, a multi-tasker and a strong communicator and be prepared to travel if required.
