The role of B2B Digital Marketing Manager:

This B2B Digital Marketing Manager role is a brand-new role is a brand-new division of this well-established, successful organisation. Reporting to the Portfolio Director, the B2B Digital Marketing Manager will be tasked with marketing an exciting portfolio of products that are focused in the emerging technologies sector. The B2B Digital Marketing Manager's objectives will centre around increasing website traffic, improving the conversion rate of the website traffic and ultimately delivering on commercial revenues for the business.

The successful candidate will have autonomy of how to achieve their objectives with guidance from the Portfolio Director. Firstly, the incoming B2B Digital Marketing Manager will be expected to have the necessary skills to increase website traffic from both organic (SEO, email, social, web content) and paid (PPC, display, retargeting, social) means. The second half of the role will require the candidate to utilise analytical tools such as G.A. to track customer journey and online behaviour to understand, analyse and make recommendations (to the development team) to improve onsite experience.

Day to day responsibilities of the role include:

  • Creating the B2B digital marketing experience for this portfolio of events
  • Working with the Programme Directors, internal content teams and external sources to curate and commission content
  • Amplifying content through a fully integrated digital marketing strategy
  • Utilising past hands-on experience of organic and paid digital channels (SEO, PPC, email and social) to drive traffic to the website pages
  • Using google analytics to analyse website traffic, improve customer journey and user experience on site
  • Being the digital expert of the division
  • Showing a willingness to take on more responsibility as the role and division reach key milestones and objectives
  • Potentially growing a team of marketers around this role
  • Concentrating on achieving core objective to hit delegate revenue figures for the launch events

Requirements for the position of B2B Digital Marketing Manager:

  • Strategic and tactical marketer
  • Driven individual who wants to grow and build something new
  • Strong digital marketing experience
  • Hands-on experience of SEO and PPC marketing channels
  • Working knowledge of email tools (automation ideal)
  • Highly data-driven and a very commercial mindset
  • Ability to use google analytics
  • Have experience of briefing technical teams to change website architecture to improve customer journey
  • Worked in a B2B digital marketing role previously

The package of the role -
