A great contract role has come up within a leading legal firm, for a junior business development specialist looking for a BD Assistant role. On a 6 month fixed term contract, the purpose of this role is to work with fee-earners and marketing colleagues to deliver marketing and business development activity which will support the firm's growth strategy and represents value for money and return on investment.
This is a broad role and the BD Assistant will be responsible for the production of informal pitches and capability statements, maintaining the BD team experience bank, standard wording and directory quotes and maintaining contacts information on the firm's CRM system. On the Marketing side, you will support the firm's legal directories submissions process, assist in the production and maintenance of marketing materials, including brochures and deal sheets, and upload content to intranet and website pages. You will also be tasked with the provision of administrative support to the Events team, including preparing biographies and pack materials for client facing events, and will be expected to offer support to firmwide marketing initiatives as required.
You will need to be a team player, with excellent attention to detail and a willingness to help others. The BD Assistant must also have gained some BD experience working in a professional services environment, ideally in a law firm, to include on-line marketing and use of websites.
