A global management consultancy has a vacancy for an experienced business development professional to join its London office in the role of Business Development Manager (Advisory). The role holder will be responsible for working with the firm's senior leadership team to drive growth through positioning, bidding, brand enhancement, pipeline generation and key account management.
Reporting to the UK Head of Business Development with a dotted line to UK Managing Director for Advisory, the Business Development Manager will occupy a key position within the Advisory team, responsible for driving growth and key strategic business initiatives, and leading work winning transformation across the region. This is a hands-on role and you will need to lead strategically, understand and articulate propositions, develop and manage a pipeline of marketing and brand promotion activities and the production of key marketing collateral, manage complex bids and support the firm's key account managers to create enduring relationships with the firm's clients. This role requires an ability to see the bigger picture along with a commitment to excellence and a determination to always deliver.
You must be a bright graduate and a driven and pro-active BD marketing specialist, with extensive experience working on marketing and business development within a professional services environment and knowledge of the UK real estate market. The Business Development Manager must be able to communicate clearly, both verbally and in writing, and have the interpersonal skills, allied to commercial credibility, to influence at a senior level. Other prerequisites include a positive 'can do' approach and the abilities to project manage and deliver to deadlines whilst working under pressure.
