This is an exciting business development opportunity with a fantastic remit in a leading law firm. Based in the firm's Manchester office and joining a specialist BD team, the Business Development Manager (Casualty and SHA Regulatory) will enjoy working with some of the industry leaders in their respective areas.
The scope of the role is very appealing as it encompasses all aspects of business development and marketing, involves a high degree of people management and also assumes a high degree of involvement with partners and associates. You will lead business development and marketing activities for the group in a way which promotes its profile, develops key account relationships and enables revenue growth. This will be achieved through the development of clear strategies and business plans, and management of an aligned range of marketing campaigns, communications and key account activity. Success will be dependent on the Business Development Manager's ability to manage resources within the BD team in order to ensure plans are delivered in a timely and efficient manner and to the highest quality.
This role would suit a very bright graduate with professional marketing qualifications and proven BD and marketing experience gained in the legal sector to include marketing communications experience and a good understanding of branding, design and the production of promotional materials. The Business Development Manager (Casualty and SHA Regulatory) must be a strong team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling you to work closely with partners and associates and to influence key partners and decision making groups, it is essential that you possess a positive and tenacious personality as you will need to pro-actively drive initiatives forward and motivate resources to perform both within and outside your team.
