An outstanding Business Development Manager opportunity has arisen in one of the world's leading Corporate divisions in the legal sector. In this role you will support partners across the London Corporate practice through the delivery and project management of business development, client focus and marketing initiatives.

This is a broad role and the role holder will work with partners, associate and client teams on specific business development opportunities, including research in relation to prospective clients and sector and market opportunities; relationship development plans; creation and delivery of pitch documentation; and project management and strategic guidance to partners on winning new business and developing existing clients. The Business Development Manager will be required to manage and lead on several key client relationships. This will include organising and co-ordinating global teams, identifying and responding to opportunities, as well as business planning and reporting. Through supporting these accounts you will be expected to meet with clients and will be seen as one of the core team delivering instrumental relationship support. You will be responsible for the execution of targeted client development campaigns to key clients in the London Corporate Practice via key initiatives such as Risk and Corporate Treasury, working closely together with the Head of Corporate Thought Leadership.

Pre-requisites for this role include an outstanding academic record allied to proven BD and marketing experience gained in a leading law firm, to include previous experience of the energy and resources sector and broad experience in dealing with senior management and key stakeholders. The Business Development Manager will also possess good commercial awareness of legal and financial market developments, excellent project management, coaching, influencing and presentation skills and be confident, articulate, resilient and focused.
