A great BD Manager role has come onto the market with one of the fastest growing law firms. The role holder will lead, drive and advise on business development activity in the Corporate, Tax and Competition practice groups.
The BD Manager will help set the benchmark for a new approach to the delivery of BD, working closely with senior members of the BD and Marketing team to shape and re-model the BD and Marketing function. With a small team to manage, it will be your responsibility to drive forward initiatives that you feel would directly impact on the success of the groups. You will be heavily involved in strategic business planning, management of the sales pipeline, development of CRM programs, bids and proposals including coaching senior internal clients on their delivery and detailed research and analysis. There will also be broader strategic marketing involved with the successful candidate being tasked with creating and developing multi-channel, sector based marketing campaigns and taking these to market.
Pre-requisites for this role include an outstanding academic record allied to proven strategic business development experience gained in a leading law or professional services firm. The BD Manager should also have both previous sector and sales experience and proven experience of managing and mentoring successful teams.
