An excellent opportunity has arisen for an exceptional Business Development specialist to join a friendly and supportive international law firm on a twelve month fixed term contract basis as a Business Development Manager. The role holder will be responsible for the business development of the Finance Practice Group.
The successful applicant for this varied role will be responsible for formulating a strategic business plan based on the business strategy and objectives of the firm. You will then manage BD and marketing activity including assisting with the firm's CRM Programme and other client initiatives, assisting on pitches, conducting research and developing best practise materials to support BD activities. From a communications perspective you will initiate, plan and co-ordinate both internal and external communications including the firm's website, brochures and credentials and will assist with the directory submission process.
The role holder will join a highly regarded BD team and will find themselves in an excellent environment in which to develop. It will require an excellent academic background allied to at least 4 years' marketing and business development experience, preferably gained in a law firm or in professional services. The ideal candidate will be at a senior executive or manager level and will be a pro-active, analytical and numerate team player, with a high attention to detail and strong communication, influencing and people skills as the ability to persuade and convince at a very senior level internally is essential. In addition, you should thrive whilst working under pressure and be able to demonstrate a previous track record of prioritising and delivering complex and multiple projects to tight deadlines.
