A large international law firm is looking for an experienced Business Development Manager to provide day-to-day business development support for all Real Estate work across practice groups and product lines in London.

The individual will be a key member of the business development team and will report to the Global Head of BD for the Banking practice. Key roles and responsibilities include business planning, as you provide focus to the delivery and direction of BD activities and work with partners to set out a clear set of priorities. You will play a key influencing role with partners on Real Estate business development activities and projects and lead on communication, coordination and strategic leadership of the international Real Estate BD community. On the client care side, the BD Manager (Real Estate) will assist partners, associates and BD colleagues in the management of strategic client relationships and co-ordinate client targeting efforts across the sector. You will work with the central client relationship management team on specific client tactics, including secondee debriefs, client presentations and training. The individual will also have responsibility for market and client research, marcoms and campaign management and business development, devising original approaches to generate new marketing communications initiatives, overseeing the organisation of events and advising in the Real Estate pitching process.

A successful candidate will have an excellent academic record and have significant business development experience gained in a large matrix-driven professional services firm and possess a thorough understanding of the global Real Estate sector. The BD manager will also require a high attention to detail and strong client focus and possess excellent communication and persuasion skills in order to motivate, develop and inspire both team and fee-earners to deliver business goals.
