This is a fantastic opportunity for a bright, experienced and ambitious individual to join a hugely entrepreneurial law firm and become an integral part of the business development team as the Bids Executive. The aim of the role is to manage and constantly improve the way the firm approaches all forms of pitching.
The Bids Executive will be a driving force in the pitch process, working in collaboration with the BD team to advise fee earners and develop winning pitch documents. You will provide professional bid management advice and guidance on developing competitive, commercial propositions, project managing the response process of all bids including credentials statements, RFIs, RFPs and panel pitches, advising on best practice and coaching presentation teams. You will be responsible for providing end of year analysis on conversion rates and ensuring lessons learned are captured and communicated as appropriate. Monitoring market trends, competitor and client activity to ensure the firm is offering distinctive business-winning ideas will form an important part of the role.
This role would suit a bright graduate with at least 3 years' bid or BD management experience, ideally gained in the legal or professional services sector to include a strong track record of helping to win new business through pitches and tenders and Good understanding of "best practice" in winning new business in the legal environment. The ability to liaise directly at partner level and strong written and verbal skills are also essential.
