About the role

We have a fantastic opportunity for experienced marketing professionals to join Charles Hurst as Brand Marketing Managers. On offer is a great basic salary plus company car. The positions available will cover the brands and areas of business that we represent so you could be representing Specialist and Premium brands to Volume, Motorbikes, Vans and Aftersales,.

As Brand Marketing Manager you will develop integrated marketing campaigns across all relevant channels:
  • Advertising, across a range of media;
  • Digital marketing;
  • Event planning and organisation;
  • Campaign development;
  • Sponsorship;
and frequent tasks will involve:
  • Developing a thorough understanding of our business, maximising brand awareness and continuing to grow the market share of the brands that we represent;
  • Developing a detailed plan for brands including commercial targets & budget investment and post campaign analysis;
  • Acting as highly informed internal customer for marketing services, including advert development, media buying, website management, social media, PR and market research (develop customer insight and understand competition)
  • Building good networks with all internal marketing resources: design team, data team, digital team, CRM manager, event & PR manager to design and deliver consistent and cohesive content across all channels;
  • Acting as source for Group of information on franchise including best practice and adherence to Corporate Identity;
  • Managing the production of all relevant marketing materials, including DM, newsletters, EDM and POS;
  • Closely liaising with data team to maintain and update the customer database as a marketing asset;
  • Supporting the Franchise Director/Sales Director/Aftersales Director in presenting to sales teams, senior management and manufacturers;
  • Responsibility for managing the marketing budget and reporting on relevant measures to analyse ROI and ROO
Key Skills include
  • Must be able to exhibit a creative AND commercial flair and understanding of the passion associated with our brands and the motor industry as a whole
  • Campaign building and multi-channel marketing with creative brand communications and campaigns
  • Budgeting and financial management
  • Influencing and negotiation, ability to build effective professional relationships
  • Effective communication skills, including written reports and presentations
  • Planned, organised, adaptable and responsive
  • Ability to work to strict/tight deadlines and budgets
  • Work on own initiative but also able to liaise closely with other departments
Qualifications and Experience
Marketing degree or equivalent plus relevant marketing experience
