An exciting opportunity has arisen for a sales focused Business Development Executive to join a dynamic mid-tier accountancy firm in a recently created role in the firm's expanding Romford office. The role holder will be responsible for all aspects of the sales cycle.
The Business Development Executive's focus will be to target prospects and contacts in order to grow and develop a sustainable new business opportunity pipeline in the region. The successful candidate will work alongside five General Practice partner accountants to develop and implement BD strategies for the office and also support the firm's HR Consultancy Service line, which is in the same location. The role will be very varied and will include supporting office projects, helping identify potential clients and provide the platform for development of business relationships through e-marketing, local profile raising, seminars and networking events.
The ideal candidate will be passionate about the Romford area and has a desire to drive business development forwards. The Business Development Executive will be an experienced BD specialist of graduate calibre with a minimum of 5 years' similar experience gained, preferably, in another accountancy firm or other professional services environment, which should include experience in identifying, building and managing sales pipelines and a proven track record of closing significant client deals and of generating new sales.
