Our client is a full service manufacturer in the health and beauty sector and they are looking for a Sales and Business Development Manager to join the team. Your focus will be to maximise sales and optimise new business opportunities from both existing and new customers. You will manage a small team of Account Managers and will drive the business to anticipate, achieve and exceed customer requirements thus ensuring satisfaction.
Office-based, there is travel required across the UK to visit customers and there may be some global travel. You will support the Sales and Business Development Director to raise the business profile, develop strategies and deliver new business.
You will research new business opportunities with existing accounts
You will be responsible for the day to day management of the Account Managers - including training and development
You will project manage new business and negotiate and ensure compliance
You will carry out budget, forecasting and reviews
For this role:
You have a strong background in sales and marketing within the manufacturing industry
You have proven sales success and New Product Development experience
You have excellent presentation skills
You are commercially savvy and have managed a small team
You are a good negotiator with excellent communication skills, written and oral.
An understanding of the beauty market is useful, understanding of manufacturing is key.
