Business Development Manager
£30,000 - £40,000 + Commission
We are looking for a highly professional, personable and outgoing individual with an entrepreneurial mindset. You will also be a real self-starter with a strong sales/business development background and have a proven track record for hitting targets. We are quite open about where your experience has been gained but would have a preference for a consumer products background and FMCG experience would be definitely advantageous. This company is growing dramatically and this is a brand new role to capitalise on new business opportunities. You will be required to proactively canvas new clients and manage current sales prospects - of which there are many! Existing clients include some of the largest FMCG manufacturers and retailers in the UK.
Our Ideal Candidate
You will be a sales professional with a confident, dynamic and go getting style. You will be comfortable meeting with senior-level people from blue-chip companies and will have superb interpersonal skills that enable you to build strong relationships. You will be an accomplished presenter and be excited by opening doors and winning new deals. This is a highly consultative sales role so you will be expected to draw on your industry knowledge and you will work closely with the Client Services team, whom you will liaise with closely in the transition of all sales. Knowledge of the UK market is essential. Excellent career development opportunities exist.
