The Role: This well-known accounting firm is looking for an experienced marketer to fill a 10-month maternity cover role. With relevant marketing experience, the successful candidate will be responsible for managing the end to end bid writing process and supporting the firm's partners with key sales collateral and presentation documents. The role holder will be responsible for researching potential clients, running competitive analysis and coaching the bid teams in presentation creation. This role sits within their London office but will support the UK regional offices (eight locations). The Business Development Manager role will be required to manage multiple stakeholders across multiple functions (events, digital, partners/fee earners, data) and in multiple locations, so will have a natural flair to build relationships.

Responsibilities for the position of Business Development Manager (10-month FTC) include:

  • Supporting up to 70 partners across the UK
  • Managing the end to end bid process
  • Creating sales support documentation (collateral, presentations, one-pagers)
  • Coaching bid teams in presentation creation
  • Holding tender de-briefs with clients
  • Working with the event manager to create lead capture from events series
  • Working closely with the firm's partners to design and create collateral and presentations

To be considered for this role you must have:

  • Experience of working in a Business Development role
  • Relevant experience within professional/financial services sectors
  • Bid/tender writing experience
  • InDesign/Photoshop experience preferable
  • Degree/CIM preferable.

The Company: This leading UK Accountancy firm with over 600 employees has their head office in London. They are looking for an experienced Business Development Manager to support their eight UK offices. Their client base is diverse, ranging from Film and Television, to Not-for-profit, to high net-worth individuals.

The Package for Business Development Manager:

  • Salary: £40,000-50,000

Location: The position of Business Development manager will be based in Central London
