Category Manager sought by leading FMCG food manufacturer - £45,000 + Bonus + Benefits - London.

This is an excellent opportunity to join one of FMCG's leading food manufacturers - a business with an enviable portfolio of Category Leading brands all of which have an excellent heritage positioning.

As the result of a few internal movements an opportunity has arisen for a FMCG Category Management professional to join the business within a role leading day-to-day relationships with a small selection of well known high street retailers.

Candidates must be able to demonstrate excellent exposure to Category Management principles from within the UK FMCG industry and exposure grocery or high street retailers. Ideally this will have been built within food businesses (any category) although we will also consider candidates from drinks and non-food backgrounds. Additionally we will also consider candidates who have built their FMCG industry experience within the insight arena (client or agency side) and who are looking to take their career in a more commercial direction. Candidates must be able to demonstrate excellent communications and relationship management skills, first class analytical ability and strong hands on experience of bringing insight to action (including use of insight from sources such as dunnhumby, LMG, IRI. Nielsen etc.) Additionally we will be looking for driven and entrepreneurial individuals who are looking to work within a fast paced environment with an excellent record of developing talent.
