This is an excellent opportunity for a Category Manager to really make their mark in the drinks industry. You will be part of a lean but dynamic team and your role is to develop the category agenda and work closely with your external customers. You will be supporting customer marketing and sales teams and working closely with the Category Controller to develop category arguments and activities.
Our Ideal Candidate
You will ideally have previous category or insight experience working within the FMCG arena and be an experienced user of data sources including Nielsen Answers, IRI CPGN, Kantar Worldpanel and various retailer proprietary databases. Strong analytical skills and data mining skills are essential and experience using Space Planning packages definite advantage. Cultural fit is key. You will have a highly motivated style and be a real self-starter. Strong interpersonal skills are essential as well as the ability to influence senior stakeholders. We're looking for a confident presenter who can build and sell a strong category story. You will have an organised style with strong attention to detail. You will thrive in a driven and winning culture and have strong problem solving skills as well as real imagination and high levels of creativity.
Our client is a small company that is part of a much larger organisation and in the UK are a subsidiary of a global brewer. Having been in operation since 2005 they are responsible for the marketing, distribution and sales of a high profile premium beer portfolio in the UK. Although the company is small they have direct access to the knowledge and resources of the parent company in the UK.
