Channel Marketing Manager - up to £200 per day PAYE or up to £300 per day Ltd Company

Purpose of the Role...

The Channel Marketing Manager is responsible for working with the wider stakeholder community and building and executing on this plan, ensuring that marketing activities are fully leveraged through the channel. Your in-depth knowledge of this industry and its stakeholders is key.

Key Responsibilities...

  • Attending sales and team meetings to present plans and gather feedback
  • Shape and develop partner account plans and shape 360 degree channel marketing programs
  • Organise and attend monthly/quarterly planning meetings and regular weekly catch-ups with network operator/reseller partners
  • Ensure that plans are received are approved in a timely manner and implemented effectively
  • Understanding the customer account requirements and opportunities by developing prosperous relationships at all levels in the account.
  • To create and implement marketing activities which will fulfil these needs in a timely, creative way.
  • Work with partner and alliance marketing teams across all lines of business and audience types
  • Manage all channel specific activities including: sales enablement, events, incentives, creative and PR.
  • Assist the commercial account team to sell into channel new B2B devices and propositions through clear presentation of any marketing campaigns and development of bespoke BTL initiatives to stimulate demand within B2B channels.
  • Anticipate the competitive forces both in the market and channels, and plan for such events to limit the potential negative effect upon sales.
  • Be responsible for ensuring the marketing accrual budget is allocated in a cost effective manner to maximize ROI. Based on projected sales, ensure that activity planned is in line with proposed accruals.
  • Understand the stock and sales figures for each product in the range, by channel and ensure all products sell through in a timely manner.

Hard Skills:

  • Qualified up to degree level or equivalent
  • Marketing qualification
  • Telecoms background essential, ideally with a vendor
  • Ideally B2B Channel Marketing experience
  • Must be able to demonstrate experience across all marketing mix - ATL-BTL
  • Commercial ability to produce business case and ROI on marketing spend
  • Must be able to demonstrate experience in a similar role
  • High level of experience with MS Office, in particular PowerPoint and Excel
  • Experience managing marketing budgets
