£50k to £55k + 18% bonus, £4,200 car allowance, healthcare, pension, 27.5 days holiday

My client connects companies, customers and communities across the country, delivering a ‘one-price-goes-anywhere’, universal postal service to more than 29 million addresses across the UK. They are looking for a talented Channel Marketing Manager based in Central London to implement their channel marketing strategy and programme. Extensive Events Management experience is essential.

They believe in the power of 1 to 1 communications to build customer relationships. They are the experts in mail within the wider media channels. Through research, insight and experience, they prove and promote the value of mail, and enable clients and their agencies to realise the value in their own businesses.

About the role

We are seeking a new Channel Marketing Manager, working with partners to run a variety of co-marketing campaigns, you’ll draw on your exceptional communication and presentation skills to influence all 3rd party channels and marketing decision-makers to our advantage. You’ll contribute to the development of the channel marketing strategy for the business, to build the case for mail (direct mail and door to door), and embed it within the modern marketing approach.
With extensive events management experience, you’ll work alongside our advertisers, media specialists and channel partners, and be responsible for the lead generation. With a strong understanding of our full market mix, you’ll work closely with the Sales Team, empowering them with the knowledge and tools to effectively promote and sell our products. Working across multiple channels, you’ll liaise with mailing houses / mail producers, DM agencies, creative agencies, media agencies, trade and industry bodies such as IDM, DMA, IPA, CIM, marketing trade press via PR, social media such as Linked-In and Twitter, marketing consultancies and affiliate partners such as TNT and TLC (re-sellers for Door to Door).

About you

With a positive attitude and a hunger to succeed, you’ll have excellent interpersonal and influencing skills. You’ll be able to engage with key stakeholders at all levels, identifying key marketing messages and developing marketing communications that support our channel partners.
As a multichannel marketing practitioner, you’ll have a wealth of experience in planning and implementing integrated marketing campaigns, allowing you to speak authoritatively with all channels, effectively influencing marketing decision-making. With a wealth of channel marketing management experience, you’ll have an aptitude for successfully managing agencies, preferably from a client-side.
While knowledge of marketing automation system is a distinct advantage, the ability to measure performance and success is what we’re looking for. A background in Technology / Digital, Marketing is desirable, along with an understanding of large, complex organisations. Degree level education and / or a CIM qualification is preferred.
