This role represents an excellent opportunity to join a niche international law firm in a client development role based in their Birmingham office. This will be a broad role combining various administrative and reporting responsibilities with the opportunity to work on key projects and assist in the development of strategic business plans.
You will be responsible for assisting in the execution of business plans, supporting with various BD and marketing activities to raise the firm's profile; undertaking and analysing competitor and market research and proactively monitoring competitor and client movements; improving and updating client information on InterAction, generating reports on both contacts and activities; developing case study material to be used for directory entries, on the website, in the media and in bids and assist with drafting and coordinating legal directory submissions; look for internal news opportunities and post client or sector team announcements on the firm-wide intranet; supporting the Marketing Communications Team at external and internal events when required; attending internal businesses development meetings, taking minutes and proactively following up on agreed actions; and assisting the Clients and Markets Team with projects arising from agreed plans.
The successful candidate will be a highly organised and enthusiastic individual, with experience of key account management within a professional services firm and, preferably, understanding of the insurance industry. You must have excellent written and oral communication and strong administrative skills, a service delivery-focused attitude and be able to work efficiently when faced with tight deadlines. Flexible and adaptable, you will be an optimistic self-starter both organised and determined and with strong attention to detail.
