A leading international law firm with a dynamic and enterprising approach is hiring a Client Development Manager who will be based in their London office and will be tasked with creating a sustained and pervasive focus on their assigned clients, leading to a change in the service that the client receives and resulting in higher revenue for the firm.
Working collaboratively with Client Development Managers in other sectors and regions and managing junior members of the team, the role holder will be responsible for all aspects of client development, including strategy and research; leading pitches and internal and external team meetings; developing marketing and business development activity that ties into the clients' needs; monitoring KPIs and reporting regularly back to the board and partnership on progress. The role covers a range of business lines and practice areas and the Client Development Manager will enjoy a high degree of involvement with the partners, associates and assigned clients.
The successful candidate must be educated to degree level and will preferably hold a professional marketing qualification. You should have proven experience of working as a Client Development practitioner at management level within a fast-paced professional services environment, preferably within the legal industry. Marketing communications experience with good copy writing skills and an understanding of branding and design and the production of promotional materials is highly desirable. Experience of supervising and assisting in the coaching of junior team members, is desirable, while strong IT skills with experience of CRM systems, preferably InterAction, is advantageous.
