A Communications & Employee Engagement specialist role has arisen with a consultancy firm based in Qatar. The role is initially a 1 year contract, with the potential to continue longer once the success of the role has been established. The role is working very closely with the corporate communications team especially relating to internal communications, and the HR team, who will specifically oversee the employee engagement survey, which the successful candidate will obtain a rapid understanding of and manage the feedback.
The purpose of the role will be to advise on and produce innovative communication solutions which develop leaders, engage staff and all key internal stakeholders. An exciting and challenging aspect of the role will be to design creative solutions which engage people at different levels in the organisation who do not share the same first language. Arabic, Hindi, Malayalam and English are the key languages spoken.
The successful candidate will be degree educated, have experience in utility, engineering or government sectors. The candidate must also be a fluent English speaker and also be proficient in a 2nd language pertaining to one of the languages listed above. The successful candidate must be committed to living in Qatar for the full 1 year of the contract.
