Communications Manager - National role / Home based

Finegreen are supporting Totally Plc with an excellent job opportunity for a Communications Manager. Totally Plc specialise in delivering out-of- hospital care and providing a range of innovative services. Totally Plc promote health and wellbeing services by driving innovation and providing a range of responsive and preventative healthcare services in community settings, GP surgeries, prisons, workplaces and patients’ homes, from pre-diagnosis to discharge. 

This newly established Communications Manager position will play a key role in the future of the business, driving their employee communications, external and internal PR and work with the marketing team to drive the organisation’s brand strategy and website content. This busy and diverse role will suit an energetic, creative and digital savvy individual who is self-motivated and can take on a wide range of communication tasks in a complex environment.

Key Responsibilities

 Working with senior executives and their PR agency to develop proactive communications strategies and plans that build brand awareness and drive engagement – internally and externally;

 Supporting the marketing team with the creation of content;

 Overseeing internal communications channels and establishing an editorial calendar to ensure maximum effectiveness and delivering the right content at the right time to engage employees, customers and the media;

 Creating and managing internal and external PR campaigns;

 Executing high-quality and engaging content across internal and external channels, including blogs, social media, speeches, presentations, articles, and more;

 Working closely with key stakeholders to ensure all communications are aligned and key messages are consistent;

 Collaborating with the external PR agency to generate positive coverage and to manage enquiries on patient issues;

 Overseeing the creation of video and visual content;

 Project management.

The Successful Candidate will;

 Have a proven passion for and ability to deliver compelling written content;

 Demonstrate an ability to work under pressure and prioritise tasks;

 Possess an understanding of best practices for content generation;

 Be driven and results-oriented with the proven ability to balance strategic thinking with high-quality creative execution;

 Demonstrate the ability to effectively tackle many high-priority projects at once in an autonomous, fast-paced, and frequently changing environment;

 Have exceptional attention to detail with a proven ability to produce work to high standards of quality and consistency.
