Communications/PR Manager - London

7 month contract - up to 70K

Our client is looking for an experience PR Communications manager that can design and execute against the group’s overall communication strategy. The individual in this role will have proven expertise in customer presentation writing and the creation of organisational communications.

Responsibilities will include:
Crafting and delivering external customer and industry communications through great presentations and speaker notes
Working with local PR and Trade Marketing partners to create his content
Developing a communications strategy to deliver the organizational goals
Yearly plan of communications from the VP of International Strategic Sales
Creating highly engaging VP and organization communications using email, social, video, in-person delivery and more
Shaping our approach to developing organizational culture
Fostering an environment where our employees feel engaged and able to interact and collaborate with each other
Leading the creation of content for the organization
Working with corporate partners

Qualifications:
The ideal candidate should have considerable communications and/or public relations experience
Advertising and/or consumer technology domain knowledge and experience is required
Experience working with senior leaders and with executives is critical in this role
The candidate must have a proven experience achieving successful results in an international environment
Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate complex issues and formulate recommendations to a wide variety of audiences, are essential
This high visibility role will demand a strong mix of communication and planning skills

Key competencies:
Strong cross group collaboration and co-ordination skills
Leadership skills to lead, drive and land results through others
Capability to process large amounts of information and feedback to deliver elegant, impactful communications
A team player with the leadership chops to take initiative, establish a plan and spark people’s best thinking and work
Ability to manage, influence and build rapport with stakeholders from a variety of functions and businesses at every level of the company
The ability to take abstract thoughts and re-communicate these concepts into a digestible format
Success in this position requires strong communications and the unparalleled ability to lead and influence large teams
Optimism, resiliency and flexibility
Graceful under pressure
A sense of humor combined with a desire to work hard and drive results
Experience required:
BA/BS in PR, Journalism, English or Communications (or equivalent)
Strong experience in communications, marketing or speech management experience
