Great interim opportunity for a Consumer Market Insight Pricing Analyst with this global FMCG giant.

 

The Role

In this role you will contribute to the delivery of the company’s mission by business partnering Marketing and Customer Development. The Pricing Analyst is responsible for supporting the Consumer Market Insight Pricing Managers to delivering the Net Revenue Management agenda. The ideal candidate will be analytical, detail-oriented and able to articulate the value of analytics to our business partners.

 

Responsibilities

  • Be responsible for the correct operation of the pricing tools, working with agencies and third parties to ensure that the most up to date studies and data are available. Pricing tools include Strategic Price Tracker, Net Revenue Management Diagnostics tool, Pricing Simulator and Pricing Diagnostic Tool.
  • Support and help the team to socialise the pricing methodologies and tools to the wider company community
  • Be the first point of contact for the Category and Marketing teams to gather input for the Strategic Price Tracker
  • Help and support the CMI Pricing and Analytics Managers in running the NRM process
  • Engage with the wider CMI team, Marketing & Customer Development teams to understand their needs in order to further improve our tools and analyses

 

Skills and Experience

  • Must have recent work experience in an analytics position, preferably in the consumer goods or retail industry
  • Excellent analytical and communications skills (oral and written), advanced Excel & PowerPoint skills
  • Strong analytical and numerical skills and the ability to build relationships within an international & multicultural network, and with key stakeholders across the business
  • Comfortable working in a virtual environment
  • The candidate should have a high degree of maturity and self-confidence
  • Strong team commitment will be critical to deliver against the objectives of the role in a global business environment, together with the ability to foster accountability  
  • Results focused, proactive, and with the ability to see the bigger picture
  • Strong business and financial acumen
  • Familiarity with continuous data sources, such as Nielsen, Kantar, Millward Brown preferred
  • Knowledge of Price Elasticities and Market Mix Modelling a plus
