We are currently looking for a Content and Social Media Specialist to be the voice of Orbium. The person will work with the Head of Marketing to build and execute a strong, global Social Media and Content strategy to increase awareness as well as delivering thought leadership content pieces and oversee content initiative from the company.
Accountable for all content marketing initiatives to drive traffic and engagement through social media channels and the Orbium website.
Deliver engaging thought leadership pieces, from initial copy development to asset production, such as whitepapers and industry articles.
Work closely with Subject Matter Experts and internal stakeholders.
Craft corporate communications, press materials, and other communications that reflect Orbium’s mission and brand.
Develop the editorial calendar, delegate tasks and ensure deadlines are met.
Collaborate with designers and copywriting agencies.
Ensure all content is “on-brand”, consistent in terms of style, quality and tone of voice, and optimized for SEO and Google Analytics.
Follow industry-related news and generate ideas around trending topics.
Edit, proof read and improve content from other contributors in the company.
Share content through various channels, ensuring a strong web presence.
Develop and structure Orbium’s Social Media strategy and set goals to increase brand awareness.
Manage all Social Media channels such as Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn and be responsible for the “voice” on social media channels.
Ensure consistency on Orbium’s Social Media accounts.
Generate, edit, publish and share engaging content from industry news.
Develop and manage marketing campaigns that promote Orbium’s brand and activities as well as our recruitment campaigns.
Excellent communication and writing skills in English, a background in journalism is a plus or a Bachelors degree in Marketing, Journalism or relevant field.
Experience in leading a social media strategy and content role, financial/banking industry knowledge is a plus.
Editorial mindset that seeks to understand what audiences consume and how to create it.
An eye for detail and the ability to work accurately.
Ability to analyze and present content and Social Media performance.
Able to work independently as the team will be based in different countries and demonstrate flexibility to travel for business.
