Friday Media Group is a UK-based web company, with a clear vision, that’s expanding in the UK and internationally (we have offices in Brighton,Miami, Preston, Netherlands and Barcelona). We currently operate over 70 websites, generating in excess of 12 million visits a month. We are recruiting for a digital marketing executive role, ideally looking for someone with up to 2-3 years experience.
The Ecommerce Creative Marketing Expert will be the creative lead within the busy retail team. They will have a proven record in creative marketing, preferably in the ecommerce environment. They will provide the drive for all aspects for marketing through the various channels for the retail team. They will be full of innovative ideas, be up to date with current tech, and a social media advocate. The ideal candidate will have a skill set, allowing the business development, that will include;
Creative personality - full of ideas that set us apart for our competition
Expert knowledge about various marketing strategies - Understand the channels/routes to market and how to exploit them to maximise our audience and sales.
Create & execute the monthly marketing plan based on purchasing and seasonality plans.
Manage the ‘shop window’ - ensure all product is displayed to its best potential with imagery and descriptions to match.
Knowledge about PPC and SEO concepts - coordinate with the resource, manage SEO/descriptions on site
Expert knowledge of affiliate marketing - internal/external opportunities, how we best use the wealth of customer data available to target our marketing activity.
Knowledge about campaign management - Analytics, Adwords, A/B testing etc, automated emails. The ability to critically review campaign performance and adapt future activity accordingly.
Expert coordination & organizational skills - ability to create and implement marketing plan that reflects the business objectives.
Supervisory experience - be able to supervise and delegate tasks out to junior team members.
The successful candidate will have a proven track record within the creative marketing environment, ideally within the e commerce discipline. They will have a passion for creativity and driving results through both conventional channels but also new and out of the box ideas.
The position is full time, 37 hours a week, based at our Sayers Common office and comes with an attractive benefit package.
Salary is 23-27k dependent on experience.
