Hays Recruitment are working in partnership with Keele University in order to recruit a CRM, Content and Creative Service Manager for their Marketing and Communications Team on a permanent basis.

The successful CRM, Content and Creative Service Manager will be based within the Marketing and Communications Directorate and will have three main areas of responsibility. They are the management of the Customer Relationship Marketing (CRM) system (currently Hobsons), the management and co-ordination of content being developed for online and print to ensure consistency and the management of the creative services team.

The primary priority of the role will be the assessment of the University’s CRM system needs, development of the future CRM system direction and strategic management of the CRM activity across the student recruitment cycle. This will require significant experience of CRM systems within a complex organisation. In addition it will require technical competency to enable meaningful conversations with developers and the ability to quickly understand complex CRM systems and how they can be made to work.

The development of systems and processes to manage content and ensure its effective and efficient use across a range of media for a complex range of audiences is also a key focus of this post. The role will also involve positioning the University’s creative services as a proactive, engaged team who input not only to the design but also the content of on and off-line publications.

Experience required in order to apply:

Essential

  • Experience of working with Hobsons or similar CRM system.
  • Experience of managing complex CRM systems and processes.
  • Experience of setting up systems and processes to manage workflow ensuring delivery on schedule.
  • Professional graphic design experience with evidence of impact/success of work.
  • Experience of managing content ensuring consistency of content across multiple platforms/products.
  • HTML coding skills and/or technical system development/coding skills which enable understanding of complex systems.
  • Able to build internal and external relationships including managing third party suppliers.
  • Significant small team management experience.

Desirable

  • Experience of university publications development.
  • Experience of university student recruitment marketing.
  • Experience of working with SITS – university student information tracking system.
  • Experience of designing for on and off line communication including websites.
  • Experience of design, publications and communications in a higher education setting.
