Customer & Category Marketing Manager
£45K-£55K + Car Allowance + Bonus
M4 Corridor/West of London
Bring your strong Customer and Category Marketing skills to this challenging role with one of the UK’s leading global FMCG players, taking responsibility for implementing category growth strategies and driving sales and profit for the business.
Execute best in class category management, to ensure we deliver against retailer initiatives
Understand relevant Category Growth Drivers within the retailer, with quantifiable £RSV opportunity, and how 4P tactics will deliver growth
Build strong partnerships with key stakeholders, internally & externally, considering touch points across various functions
Manage direct reports and wider cross functional teams, enabling knowledge & expertise transfer that drives categories
Act without bias, but remain commercially aware of decisions, communicating with tact and diplomacy at all times
Manage the range review process end to end, including presence at merchandising centres when required
Drive distribution, share of shelf and quality of placement via optimised range and merchandising
Translate & analyse data to recommend in store actions aimed at strengthening the category
Proven track record of developing and managing customer relationships at a senior level; buyers & above
Ability to influence across functions
Passion for achievement; integrity and drive with a strong desire to make things happen
Demonstrate the ability to think strategically
Links data to recommendations succinctly
Confident people management qualities
Previous FMCG account management experience
Data experienced; Nielsen, Space Planning, IRI, Kantar, or similar
Intermediate usage of Excel & PowerPoint
