Located in the highly prestigious St Peter’s Square development in the city centre, Distrelec are establishing their new Enterprise Hub and hiring a Customer Insight Analyst.

The Enterprise Hub will be the European centre for the implementation of their new digital operations that will deliver all online trading, marketing and technical deliveries for the organisation.

The role:

As Customer Insight Analyst, reporting to the Head of Analytics & Insight, you will be tasked with generating and manipulating multiple customer behaviour data sources in order to understand and articulate what Distrelec customers want both now and in the future.  You will contribute to and provide data driven evidence of how the customer experience can be improved through developing and implementing robust customer segmentation models.

Key accountabilities:

A large part of your role will involve developing and creating reports and dashboards the monitor the trading performance of the business in real time.  You will support the propositions team in producing data driven insights that support business developments and will make regular data and insight driven recommendations for enhancements and marketing campaigns.  The role will also involve producing customer data lists to support marketing campaign work including the generation of mail or e-mail address lists to meet campaign criteria.

Skills & experience:

You will have previous experience of relational databases and data mining with proven experience in BI and data mining tools.  You will have a thorough understanding of marketing campaign processes and proven experience of measuring campaign effectiveness and ROI, as well as experience of BI tool evaluation, selection and implementation e.g. Clickview.  Due to the digital nature of the business, a thorough understanding of technical e-commerce concepts, with specific implementation of onsite analytical tools would be an advantage. 

You will have strong analytical and logical thinking skills as well as strong stakeholder management experience.  You will have the ability to articulate compelling customer lead justifications for business change or functional digital enhancements and will work proactively and collaboratively with the wider team.
