Reporting to: Head of Customer Marketing
Location: Maidenhead, Berks.
As a key member of the analgesics team you will be accountable for providing insight to the sales and marketing teams and to trade customers, to help shape the strategic direction and tactical needs of the category. You will analyse the impact of current and future business activities and to provide actionable recommendations both internally and to the trade.
Key Accountabilities:
Consumer, Shopper & Customer understanding
Brand/Trade strategy development Category Management operations
Customer Management integration
Leveraging best category Management practice
Brand equity management
Leadership of brand innovation/renovation
Experience/Knowledge required
Previous experience in category management, sales, retail or trade marketing UK OTC experience
Category management principles
IRI database, Excel, Powerpoint
project management process
UK major multiples and pharmacy trade - understand buyers trading and merchandising requirements
Range analysis/space planning software (e.g. Market Profiler, Intactix, Prospace)
Market research data sources
Database interrogation
