An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Design and Content Manager to join one of the UK's largest passenger rail franchise group.

Design & Content Manager - Travel and Tourism - £50,000 - £60,000 - Greater London

THE COMPANY
Our client is one of the UK's largest rail franchise group based in Central London

THE ROLE
As Design & Content Manager you will ensure consistency of brand 'look and feel' and 'tone of voice' across all brands and the development of a content led customer focussed strategy across all of channels.

Central to the role is managing a team of content and design experts who will assist in shaping and delivering all customer facing editorial and marketing related content initiatives across the Business, across multiple channels, platforms and formats to drive increased brand reputation, increased customer engagement, increased customer acquisition and retention and ultimately increased revenue.

YOU
The ideal candidate for this role will possess the following skills:

·Ability to lead, develop, coach and inspire a small creative team
·Proven editorial skills, (including copywriting and design) with an outstanding command of the English language.
·Training in how to tell a compelling story using words, images, or audio, an understanding of how to create content that draws an audience (it is critical that the Design & Content Manager retains an "outsider's perspective") and a clear articulation of the business goal behind the creation of a piece (or series) of content.
·Skill at long-form content creation, real-time (immediate) content creation and distribution strategies and tactics as well as digital content creation.
·Basic technical understanding of HTML, XHTML, CSS, Java, web publishing, Flash, etc.
·Fluency in web analytics tools, social media marketing applications and leading social media monitoring platforms.
·Knowledge of Content Management systems and processes.
·Experience as a trained print or broadcast journalist.
·Experience of creating Content Strategies and plans and managing content lifecycles through the definition of robust content standards and workflow processes.
