Connexion2 are in the unique position of being both manufacturer and service provider with a range of devices and solutions that are suitable for both reseller and end user channels across a broad geographical market. In addition to the management and development of the existing sales team the Sales Director should:
· Maximise sales of existing devices through existing channels and markets
· Define opportunities for existing devices through new channels and markets
· Successfully introduce new devices to a range of channels and markets
· Maximise key account opportunities and partnerships
· Maximise sales of SoloProtect solutions and services in existing markets
· Define new market opportunities for existing SoloProtect solutions and services
· Define areas of opportunity for new SoloProtect solutions and services
The role of Sales & Marketing Director encompasses both strategic and tactical functions and the breadth of growth opportunities determines that we require an experienced, high calibre individual with a broad range of sales (and marketing) skills with the strongest ambition to succeed. The individual should be naturally insightful and empathic with excellent all-round business acumen. Outstanding communication skills with a proven, lucrative, personal track record in sales, this position calls for the individual to own the number and deliver. Specifically, the individual should demonstrate that they are/or have:
A successful track record in sales (personal)
A proven track record in sales management
B2B solution sales experience
Channel sales experience
Public Sector sales experience
A successful history of growing a business sector/business unit
Previous experience and successful delivery of a 3-5 year plan
Experience of defining a sales strategy and implementation of thus
Motivation and (man) management skills
A deep understanding of push-pull selling
Deep understanding of the various sales cycles
Experience in report writing, forecasting, target setting
Powerful communicator and presenter
Strong literacy and authoring skills
Strategic marketing experience
Highly organised with a strong aptitude for time management
Board level experience
P&L experience
Flexibility and willingness to work long hours and travel
Security market experience a benefit
Multi-lingual advantagous
