My client is a leading name in Consumer Electronics, boasting impressive sales of TV & Home Cinema, Audio and Visual products worldwide and over 100,000 employees internationally. Driven by innovation and technology, their sales in the UK come through key retail channels including high-street and high-end stores - but they have no ecommerce platform of their own. And that's where you come in - we are looking for the newly creating position of Digital Brand Activation Manager to create the strategy that maximises their digital strategy for online sales.
Your new role
As Digital Brand Activation Manager you will develop and implement a successful digital marketing strategy for the brand's consumer electronic products online. Your job is to know the right online tools to use and implement effective and timely online trade marketing activities to a high standard in terms of brand, category and sales performance, balancing strategic objectives with tactical opportunities and in line with the dynamics of target shoppers and retailers' positioning towards them.
You will be responsible for online product launches to ensure that new products are activated on agreed launch dates with fully maximised content for the best online customer experience. You will also be responsible for improving the positioning of the brand on the e-tailers websites. This new role involves a span of digital activities such as content management, PPC, SEO optimisation, digital artwork and web audits in a fast-paced and competitive environment.
What you'll need to succeed
We are looking for applicants with strong knowledge and experience in digital marketing and e-commerce focused roles with demonstrable experience in driving financial outcomes, and can influence new initiatives into business and gain required investment to deliver. You will have proven experience in project management from planning to creation and delivery, and be up to date with the latest advertising trends and benchmarking across digital. You will also need technical experience in content management, PPC, SEO optimisation, digital artwork and web audits.
What you'll get in return
You will receive a salary of £45,000 - £55,000 depending on experience, plus benefits including bonus, private company pension, above-average holiday, and great on-site facilities at their Head Office in Weybridge. You will have the opportunity to shape a new position and deliver an innovative approach to driving online sales through digital strategy.
