Digital Marketing Executive Based either in our South Wales or London office
What we are looking for?
We are looking for an experienced, creative dynamic and adaptable e-Communications specialist to lead the marketing element of our sales. It is an exciting opportunity as the new team takes our market-leading product, FFT Aspire, and provides access and subscriptions direct to schools across the country. The role is primarily based in Cardiff (Cowbridge) or London (Westminster) and has a remuneration package of up to £30,000, plus a generous benefits package and company bonus.
Reporting to the Head of School Services & Sales, you will be responsible to drive sales to schools (FFT Aspire subscriptions and FFT training courses) through effective campaigns and e-marketing. This will be achieved by working jointly with managers and advisers in the sales and training functions.
You will be responsible for both:
(1) The management, execution and scheduling of email communications, ensuring key campaign objectives are met and conducting post campaign analysis against objectives and to inform continual improvement. This will include:
= Monthly campaign analysis and reporting
= Development of effective email templates and campaigns
= Carrying out test campaigns and segment data
= Writing copy to ensure that both current and potential customers receive tailored messaging and content
= Creation and management of mailing lists within the CRM environment
= Management of proof reading
(2) The coordination and delivery of campaigns and promotions by:
= Working with in-house expertise to develop resources (print, pdf, video and interactive) to promote subscriptions and courses
= Writing copy for communications and resources
= Liaising with external organisations: Agencies, partnership sponsorships with stakeholders, event coordinators on a regular basis
Skills, knowledge and experience
= The ability to plan, manage and rigorously evaluate communications campaigns
= Demonstrable experience of improving click through rates and conversions of email campaigns
= Demonstrable experience of writing e-Communications in a sales environment
= Strong written skills
= Creativity in writing copy
= Excellent proofing skills
= Good team working skills and able to work independently to deadline
= The willingness and ability to regularly travel to Cowbridge, South Wales if London based
= Educated to at least degree level
= Professional qualification in sales, marketing or communications
= Commercial experience of the UK school sector / statistics / software
= Organisational skills, flexible (occasional weekend and evening work involved), working well to deadline, able to multi task
= Experience of using a CRM (we use Microsoft Dynamics)
= Competent in Microsoft Office Suites and Adobe InDesign
= Experience using social media platforms in a commercial environment
= Excellent interpersonal and relationship-management skills, including the ability to guide and influence more senior colleagues on communications matters
= Working knowledge of SEO and advertising
