Friday Media Group is a UK-based web company, with a clear vision, that’s expanding in the UK and internationally (we have offices in Brighton,Miami, Preston, Netherlands and Barcelona). We currently operate over 70 websites, generating in excess of 12 million visits a month. We are recruiting for a digital marketing executive role, ideally looking for someone with up to 2-3 years experience.

Based in our UK headquarters, just outside Brighton, you will work closely with various members of our marketing, data, SEO, PPC, sales and design teams.
We are keen to transform our e-commerce division and we are looking for someone who will help drive our business forward working closely with our marketing and product managers to take responsibility for revenue growth through all marketing channels on some of our key websites. You will have the opportunity to drive sales through great marketing and make your mark on our future direction. This is an exciting and challenging role where you will be rewarded well for growth.
Creating online (email, social, competitions, website links, banners etc) and offline campaigns to drive traffic and sales
PPC and SEO - working with our expert teams to maximise sales through these areas
Email - maximising sales through clever use of data and utilising group email databases and data to identify people with intent.
Email / Lifecycle of customer - ensure that we maximise the potential of our ESP (email service provider)
Group websites - ensure product is promoted on our group sites in front of the right people at the right time
Sourcing, creating and posting engaging content for product pages. Creating 'how to guides’, blog posts etc
Developing and growing our social presence on Facebook and Twitter and Instagram by posting/weekly relevant daily content and maximising product promotion and sales through these channels.
Developing affiliate sales
Referral traffic and sales - create strategy to grow referral sales in particular from our group classified websites.
Competitor monitoring of product promotion and pricing across key lines.
Manage overall marketing reporting and dashboard to present KPIs to the team on a regular basis. Analysing the results - learning the key tools in Google Analytics and reporting on traffic figures, sales and opportunities
2 years Marketing experience
A creative flair, with analytical mind
Strong analytical and numerate skills, knowledge of MS Office and Google Analytics
Natural commercial awareness - understanding business objectives and identifying opportunities
A love of finding and utilising unrealised, 'out-of-the-box’ techniques
Rapid learner, with capacity for original thought
Self-starter; able to go from idea, to prototype, to execution flawlessly. Decision making with ownership skills
Confident connecting with people by email, social, networking and on the phone
Self-motivated individual who can manage and prioritise multiple projects simultaneously
To have developed a taste for success in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment
Some experience with SEO, PPC and social
Graphic design skill prefered
Bonus if you have a knowledge of the Magento platform! (not crucial)
