Digital Marketing Manager – Sport

We seek a real star; someone from the Premier League who will grow with the business! You will currently be working on a leading consumer brand, where you will have been trained to an exceptionally high level in both strategy development and execution, but you now want to make a move into the world of sport.

What do we want?

  • A demonstrable track record of owning strategy and delivery of digital campaigns – therefore the ideal candidate may have an agency and client side background.
  • A balance of technical and commercial expertise – be able to get under the bonnet with SEO, PPC, analytics and social, be able to take a step back strategically and then implement from awareness through to conversion.
  • We want a doer who is able to roll up their sleeves – but someone who is forward thinking too! The opportunity for digital technology to transform the way our client approaches marketing is huge. Be that in customer experience from finding them, booking, playing and interacting, all the way through to managing data and tracking behaviour. So, being able to analyse opportunities across marketing automation systems, on pitch player technology and beyond are key.

Our client is an established football operations brand, a boutique football operator, particularly in small sided 5, 6 and 7-a-side. Fully accredited by the FA, partners and customers include The FA, The EFL, The Premier League, numerous professional and amateur football clubs, County FA's, coaching organisations, education-based companies and millions of social football visitors each year. Football participation is at an all-time high with 11m UK players. This is set to grow, especially through the recreational small sided game.
