We're working on behalf of a pre-launch startup (backed by one of the largest insurance groups in the UK). They are looking to grow their leadership team by adding a Digital Marketing Manager/ Performance Marketing Manager to the team. This role will report directly to the Marketing Director and will be responsible for developing short and long-term acquisition strategies for large-scale digital acquisition campaigns. This role will be responsible for driving new traffic the acquisition of new customers and helping them supercharge their growth.

The company is a pre-launch digital disruptor. They are looking to change the way the mortgage process works in the UK, using Big Data, machine learning and Data Science they have created a unique platform to accurately show what the right mortgage is for the consumer and its affordability. They are backed by one of the largest insurance groups in the UK, who have been incubating and nurturing the company from day one, they are currently preparing to launch and need a talented digital market to drive the growth of their customer base and put the company on the top of the list for "break out start-ups of 2018".

They are looking to expand their teams significantly in the coming year with upcoming vacancies in digital, campaigns and communications to maintain their growth plans.

This role is responsible for championing the brand digitally, they are looking for someone to help the company become a renowned brand in a crowded digital market.

Headquartered in Camberley they are easily commutable from all mainline London stations.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Management and oversight of an effective online marketing campaign delivering an optimised ROI - PPC / Facebook / Display / Affiliates etc
  • To manage the day to day Digital Marketing activates ensuring achieves growth targets
  • To review other disruptive fin-tech models and deploy game changing marketing campaigns
  • To manage and optimise the E-CRM campaigns
  • Responsible for website and digital marketing communications content and tone of voice
  • Management of third party agencies, to ensure the business achieves its results such as Brand, PR and Media
  • To research customer feedback and respond with the introduction of journey enhancements

Salary: £40k - £55k dependent on experience

Experience Required:

The idea candidate will be a high-energy, ambitious digital marketing professional looking for the next step working for a global brand. Driven, resourceful and articulate - they will be someone who has an ability to make things happen.

  • Several years' experience in performance marketing, including hands on PPC, display and affiliate marketing experience
  • Demonstrable impact on business growth via paid advertising channels
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, project management and time management skills
  • Creative, Adaptable, growth hacker at heart - constantly looking for new ways to generate more demand via paid advertising and search channels
  • High levels of integrity, autonomy, and self-motivation
  • Passion for digital marketing
  • Excellent knowledge of online marketing and a good understanding of key PPC, social, and display challenges
  • Advanced Excel skills with strong focus on correlating data sets and commercial forecasting
  • Razor-sharp attention to detail
  • Ability to meet deadlines and multi-task in a fast-paced, ever changing, dynamic working environment
  • A proven track record of identifying business opportunities and problem-solving
  • Proactive, outside the box thinker, can successfully handle ambiguous tasks and situations

  • Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field is preferred
