About the role
This is an exciting opportunity to work in our Bournemouth office as a Digital Performance Manager. Joining our Customer and Member department and more specifically our Digital Team, you’ll be accountable for defining and developing our digital performance framework for our Retirement and Protection propositions.
A key element of this role is ensuring the performance of our digital estate and marketing channels is effective and supports our overall strategic priorities and commercial objectives. You will ensure timely and accurate delivery of all analysis and reporting is completed. Our successful candidate will hold responsibility for identifying, analysing and interpreting data and trends in data sets, whilst always striving to implement process improvements.
You’ll support the direct marketing team with planning and forecasting; working alongside the channel managers to provide channel data intelligence and insight. In addition to having responsibility for managing customer marketing data, you will maximise operational capabilities required for the continued optimisation of the digital experience for all our customers.
Empowering a truly digital data driven team, you will have leadership responsibility for our Digital Operations Analysts. With your team, you will champion data and your vision of data being central to decision making. You’ll identify any talent capabilities gaps needed for future success and collaborate with key stakeholders across the wider business functions to articulate your insight, make recommendations and influence decisions.
You’re strategic, detail oriented and a self-starter with strong problem solving skills. You’ll have a data, numerical and analytical background within a digital environment, along with experience of digital reporting tools / technologies and data methodologies.
With previous experience working with MS Office suite (including advance excel and VBA skills) you will also be familiar with multiple data types including Digital data (specifically Google Analytics), flat files and databases (including SQL, Cubes and Access). You will also have experience of query writing, SSRS and SSIS.
An understanding of the wider marketing / digital mix encompassing UX, UI, CRO, Content and Marketing would be beneficial.
You work well within a senior leadership group, collaborate well with the wider business and are able to influence future decision making using data insights and recommendations. Ideally you’ll have some leadership experience, including developing, coaching and performance managing team members.
