Hours: 37 hours per week
Salary: £27,000 to £31,000 (Dependent on Experience)

About the role:
In an age where the debate about food provenance, sustainability and safety has never been more urgent, the challenge for our client is to combat the spread of factory farming and ensure that animal welfare becomes a fundamental consideration within the global food system.
This post will help the charity achieve its long-term strategy by developing and retaining donors and other committed supporters. Our client’s ambitious growth plans seek to significantly build their team of engaged, active donors over the coming years.
In conjunction with the Digital Fundraising & Direct Marketing Manager, the Donor Development Manager is accountable for meeting campaign targets within agreed budgets and timescales, whilst identifying opportunities for the development of the overall supporter development strategy.
Educated to degree level or equivalent, the successful applicant will need to demonstrate a track record in running a busy marketing schedule (particularly via direct mail, email and telephone). Excellent copywriting and creative abilities, and a passion for delivering compelling, results-focused campaigns is essential. These skills will be applied to delivering online and offline supporter engagement and retention communications.
The successful applicant will be able to use their professional, creative and storytelling expertise to inspire this 21st century movement to end factory farming – the biggest cause of cruelty on the planet. You should demonstrate strong project management skills, as well as analytical skills to deliver challenging income and engagement results to agreed targets.
