The Opportunity:

  • Preparation, management and delivery of major group events including our International Forum, largest customer event. Responsibilities include all logistical - internal and external - and technical production. Production of all relevant marketing materials both direct and online.
  • Event Outline:
  • 300 customers attending
  • 5 days itinerary, international venue including meeting space
  • Full project management of the annual sales meeting, an internal conference including hotel, AV, itinerary, activity and marketing support materials. C.100 employees, 4-day itinerary with activities.
  • Work with the creative team to support all events with printed and electronic resources including agendas, hand-outs, event web pages and social media support. Including copy writing.
  • Develop a range of supplier contacts throughout Europe, including DMC, AV, hotel groups and display.
  • Support with venue identification and negotiation/booking as required for major internal leadership meetings.
  • Handle sponsorship and presence at key industry events and trade shows. This will include stand design, project management, negotiation etc.
  • For all events maintain good project controls including; schedules, budgets, team management (internal & external) with defined roles & responsibilities, debriefs/ feedback & future recommendations.

·         Take responsibility for the successful running, planning and development of customer events. This will range from admin and planning of the centre, client hospitality and content planning and creation.

·         Coordination of the training courses that are ran within The Academy.

You:

  • Demonstrable event management experience working with diverse clients in a global capacity.
  • Ability to influence and manage a range of stakeholders from diverse cultures and backgrounds.
  • Financially savvy - budget management experience.
  • Well organised with previous project management experience.
  • A keen presenter who can engage an audience and present relevant data with flair.
