Are you a proactive Events & Communications Manager with a passion and drive to succeed? Do you have at least 2 years' experience managing, coordinating and executing large-scale events? Our award-winning client is looking for an Events & Communications Manager to join their busy and growing team in Berkshire. With previous experience running sizeable events for a large consumer business, you will use your exceptional organisational and project management skills to plan and manage both local and national events. You will be working with sizeable budgets in this role, so the successful candidate must have experience managing budgets in excess of £1million. As there will be occasional weekend and evening work required, in addition to some national and international travel, you will need to be flexible to accommodate this.

As Events & Communications Manager, you will be responsible for delivering, coordinating and executing multiple events each year, of varying scales and size. Exceptional project management skills are essential, as you will be working on up to 20 events per month, and will need to be able to keep track of timescales and logistics for each event. You will be working on events on a local and national scale, from small events with local stores to national, press events launching new products and campaigns, and will need to be able to deliver exceptional event experiences at all levels. Liaising with multiple internal departments, external agencies and suppliers, you will oversee the logistics and coordination of each individual event, in addition to managing all event communications.

Working with your colleagues in the online, communications and public relations teams, you will ensure all events are promoted across multiple channels and secure maximum attendance at events. Working from the initial brief and planning sessions, through to sourcing venues and suppliers, to managing event budgets and creating promotional materials and an event communication strategy; you will see each event from conception to debrief and will be the key point of contact to ensure the smooth execution of events.

Due to the location of this Berkshire office, this role is easily commutable from Reading, Wokingham, Bracknell, Slough, Basingstoke, Windsor, Farnborough, Aldershot, Guildford, Woking, Weybridge, Epsom, High Wycombe, Maidenhead and Henley-on-Thames.
