A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Events Coordinator to join this high profile organisation based in Liverpool city centre on a full time, permanent basis.
Your new role
In your new role as Events Coordinator, you will be responsible for the coordination and delivery of a busy calendar of large scale events. You will develop events plans including operational requirements for estates managers and other partners and stakeholders, event documentation and checklists and take in to account Health and Safety requirements. You will be responsible for confirming arrangements and bookings, ensuring payments are made in a timely manner and monitor budgets as well as ensuring events are communicated effectively to all stakeholders. You will also act as a point of contact and troubleshooter to support on the day of events as well as identifying opportunities to maximise commercial prospects.
What you'll need to succeed
To succeed in this role, you must have previous experience of coordinating and delivering large scale public events including outdoor events working alongside event producers. You will have the ability to work alongside and communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders of all levels including partner organisations while working to a brief and a budget. You must be highly organised and have a well developed understanding of health and safety requirements when running a successful event as well as the flexibility to work some weekends and evenings.
