Do you have experience working in Events managing Awards Ceremonies?

Would you like to work for a leading Media Group who specialise in B2B Conferences, Exhibitions and Awards? If so we’d like to hear from you.

The Role

The Events Manager will be working on a number of small and large client facing events within business-to-business titles in different industry sectors.

The role will be responsible for the successful, smooth and profitable running of various key industry award ceremonies, forums, and roundtables that come under the HIS publishing events. These also include in-house and external round-table discussions, meetings, webinars and regional events.
The job requires close liaison with the sales, marketing, and editorial teams, some travel with flexible working including some weekend work.

Essential Requirements

• 2 years’ experience working in Events Management, particularly Awards.
• Budget management and negotiation skills
• Experience working with sponsors
• Excellent communication skills
• Flexibility to attend events where necessary

Key Skills

• Excellent organisational and planning skills
• Minimisation of costs
• Confidence to work with various internal teams including sales, editorial, and marketing.
• Adaptable approach
• Excellent time management
